Orion
A plan for every student, and a clear view for every teacher.
The situation
Online lessons treat every student the same. The fast ones are bored, the ones who fell behind stay behind, teachers cannot see who is struggling, and parents see nothing at all. Recorded lessons are also copied and passed around. We built Orion for secondary students, on the web and on their phones: it works out what each student is weak at, builds their plan and tests around it, and answers their questions from their own teacher's material.
What it does, by who is using it
- A study plan and tests built around your weak spots
- An assistant that answers from your teacher's lessons, at any hour
- Short lessons with questions, points, streaks and daily challenges

What we built

Home: today's focus, the day's tasks, and how far through the plan the student is.

The assistant: pick a subject and ask, and it answers from that teacher's lessons.

A subject: the teacher, the lessons month by month, and the student's progress through them.

Activity: the streak, today's challenge and where the student stands on the leaderboard.

Rewards: points, level, badges earned and what comes next.
